Help Identify this art?
One of my favorite comic book artists puts these paintings in the background of his panels. I have noticed that the same paintings are used in several of his comics. I asked him what he used and he just responded that it was from an old book of illustrations he had lying around. My friend got really mad at me because I saw her playing with light sticks on strings that she was swinging them around. I asked her why is she playing around and she got really offended and said it was an art form that's really hard to do. I didn't believe her because were always joking around so now she's really mad at me So my question is, is this really an art form? If so, what is it called, and is it taken very seriously?

Sure fire ways to tell the difference between time periods in art?
I have a quiz coming up and the teacher will show 23 slides of paintings, pottery, architecture, etc. I have to write down what period each work of art is from. I did horrible on the pretest, and I have to make a good grade on this quiz. Can anyone help me by giving me some defining characteristics of the art periods? Like I know that prehistoric has like wall paintings with hunted animals and things, ancient Egyptian has pyramids and hieroglyphs, Greek has people in god like perfect form, Roman has columns and people are more realistic, Renaissance has Biblical scenes, right? Byzantine has stained glass, halos, and the babies' faces look like adults', generally. Baroque has a darker picture with a light source representing activity from a singular point, usually on the side. Impressionism has landscape type things and I think they are more blotchy, and Surrealism has some real things in crazy aspects. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I did that from memory. But is there anything else that anyone can add to that, that I can use as a good way to distinguish each one? I wanted you to know i didn't want you to do my homework for me. Like one I got wrong was a piece of pottery with people on the side and I thought it would be Egyptian or Prehistoric, but I think it ended up being Greek. Please please please help me I'm so worried my GPA will fall because of my stupidity in art. I don't usually pick best answer, but if you give me a great answer and it's the best, I'll make sure you get your 10 or is it 5 points? because I know this is a long read and a lot to ask.

On a scene people are wearing black tight suit almost invisible and moving objects on the scene to interact with actors. So as an example, a guy dressed as Neo would dodge bullet on the scene while a black dressed guy would support him during the bullet time effect and another one would slowly bring the bullets to him To recreate the bullet time slow motion effect
Art club... snack committee?
ok... as you know schools back... and im in art club, i love making food and my art teacher suggested i be in charge of the snack committee. that means i am in charge of bake sales, and bringing snacks to the meetings. do you guys have any ideas tips for me i know it sounds really dumb but it is fun i was thinking just like a cupcake thing first... and to have a bowl full of sweets. but i need healthier, better ideas.. thx
